NexStat® topical hemostat powder is an all-natural, plant-based polysaccharide in an easy-to-use applicator ideal for treating bleeding

• Mild bleeding from topical ENT surgical wounds and nosebleeds
• it is also indicated for control of bleeding from the skin at percutaneous needle access, vascular access and percutaneous catheter access sites.

NexStat topical hemostat powder meets ISO 10993 biocompatibility requirements and contains no animal tissue or other bovine agents. It’s easy to apply and naturally dissolves from the sinus cavity generally within about a week.
METHOD OF ACTION
Bleeding cessation is accomplished by rapid dehydration and subsequent hemoconcentration of blood in contact with NexStat powder. The concentration of clotting factors enhances the endogenous clotting mechanisms.

How Supplied:
NexStat® Topical Hemostat Powder is packaged with five (5) sterile units per carton. One (1)
sterile unit contains 3 grams of hemostat powder in a compressible bellows and three (3)
flexible applicator tips. NexStat® Topical Hemostat Powder is terminally sterilized by gamma
irradiation.
